The Blue Badge (Disabled Persons) Parking Scheme is a national scheme that allows disabled people in England to maintain their independence by enabling them to park as close as possible to their destination.

Who can apply?

The scheme is open to eligible disabled people regardless of whether they are travelling as a driver or as a passenger.

You can apply for a Blue Badge for yourself, someone else or your organisation.

How can you apply?

You will need to complete a Blue Badge application form online.

If you are not able to apply online, your local library or Customer Service Centre will be happy to help and assist you with your application.

You can use the same form to apply for a new badge, reapply or change your details.

If you want to apply on behalf of your organisation you may qualify for an organisational badge.

How much does a Blue Badge cost?

The cost of a Blue badge is £10. You'll only be charged for this if your application is approved.
